New Project for 2014
New Project for 2014
Hi Guys.
Been so busy the last 6 months that I've not had a chance to post anything in TR. So this is my first post in a while
Here is a project that we are due to start on 6th January. It's a bespoke inframe kitchen that will be hand painted on site.
Rendered Easy 9 with PP done in Gimp and Capture One
C&Cs welcome

Stunning!
Re: New Project for 2014
On this computer's screen the lights look too white, and everything a bit over-exposed.
However, it's still a fantastic image.

Thanks for your comments Fletch. I'd agree. I've done a little more PP in Capture One to reduce the exposure and make the lights less white.

Re: New Project for 2014
The down-left corner of the image looks strange, but the rest of it looks good. In Photoshop, the levels settings could solve the problem. Anyway, it's way better than I can do with an interior, so

Very good again Dan. I am struggling to get similar results with interiors when using lights. Are you using IES lights, and where did you get the floor texture? BTW how many Passes?
Re: New Project for 2014
Better on this screen, Dan.
Of course all computer screens will display different with different gamma and brightness settings.

Re: New Project for 2014
In this model I'm using several IES lights that are available on the resources section of the forum as well as light emitters. The ceiling and pendants are IES and under units are light emitters. The glare on the bulbs were done in GIMP.nickchun wrote:I am struggling to get similar results with interiors when using lights. Are you using IES lights, and where did you get the floor texture? I made the floor myself so I'll post a link to that later when I'm at my computer
Passes I think was around 180-200 and took more than 24 hours as the original image was over 2000 px
