Happy new year!
I took a look at your gallery also and let me say they are all great renders.Which render preset do you use? what about the LEM ( light emitter materials) do you use LEM for ceiling hidden lights? does it increase render time or you are using some sort of tricks?

Thanks Majid,
I use LEM and easy 10 , render time is a bit long but its worth it I think
and also can't find any tricks that can produce the effect I want for the hidden lights
Thanks n Rgds

In my experience, Easy 09 renders 2x faster than Easy 10, and looks just as good in any architectural rendering.
I show render speed and look comparison for spot lights vs emitter lights for concealed ceiling cove lights here:
(Be sure to OPEN the original thread and see all the images and comparison render times!)

Here is a quick test example at the large render speed difference between Light Emitting Materials (LEM) as soffit lights, (a.k.a. cove lights, concealed lights), or using multiple spot lights. Spot lights are much quicker.
If rendering with Easy 09 or 10 it is recommended to use LEMs but if you are in a hurry - it is recommended to use spot lights.

Rendered the same scene with the two versions of lights -
Easy 02 Low Render Setting
spot lights : 1m 36s
emitters : 9m 12s

Easy 04 Medium Render Setting
spot lights : 4m 32s
emitters : 23m 41s

Tomyong, great work! Just needs a little Topaz Denoise 5 to polish the image. ;) (IMHO)
Subject: Unsharp masking
flipya wrote:Unsharp mask is a nice tool indeed. However it tends to bring artifacts into the image as well, and sometimes boosts materials that have a fine bumpmap on them too much. I usually (both in photography- and renderpostpro) use the high pass method: Merge all visible layers to copy by clicking the top one and pressing ctrl+alt+shift+E, then go to filter->other->highpass and slide until you see outlines only. Then clock ok and set the top layer (the merge) to overlay. Most of the times this method doesn't sharpen texture details.
