Playground

I like how this came out. I couldn't figure out how to get the exposure of the sky and the scene balanced, so I mashed-up some layers in PS. It uses a sky probe for lighting.

It would be better if I could get the balance right all in one render but I don't know how. If I up the camera exposure to make the scene good, the sky is too bright -- and vice-versa.

What preset are you using? If it's any one from Easy 01 through Easy 08, you can use Tomasz Marek's "Bring My View Back" script to add a background:

...and then make it render exactly as you want:

Easy -08

I'm simply seeking a way to reduce the exposure of the sky probe a little. "Sky Brightness" doesn't see to affect it.

What about darkening the HDR that I use for the sky?
