Alphabet inspired sketches
Re: Alphabet inspired sketches
Oh, ...IN... yes. it reflects my attitude: Thinking "W"in-:W"in.... and I believe is the only right relationship type.
WIN-WIN relationship with nature, others, and self...

looking good, Majid! it's a Win!
Re: Alphabet inspired sketches
Thank you, Fletch! You always have been supportive!
It would be valuable if turns into win-win
P.S: To give an explanation and make clarification of the inception of the book, let me draw your attention to Bruno Munary's classic book; Design As Art. I read it 3 decades ago but it is still one of the most inspiring books I have ever read.

Re: Alphabet inspired sketches
I am wondering if anyone has read this rather old yet inspiring book.
I personally, remember how influential this book was to me.

The kindle version is for free and for those who prefer a physical copy including myself, the good news is that the paperback version of my book is now also available: https://lnkd.in/dGkuAFXW
Re: Alphabet inspired sketches
I did not, but it looks interesting - thanks for telling us about it!
Re: Alphabet inspired sketches
OK - some progress (although bad) using Sketchbook on my iPad but at least it is a start, I like the Krita software but find it hard to “sketch” with a mouse.
Majid, your work is inspiring. I am looking into getting your book and the other one you told us about. Not sure when that will happen though.
Hey TR followers, don’t laugh too loud at my horrible drawing.
I am trying to concentrate on you Alphabet to Sketch idea. When I can, I will take this idea over to SketchUp and develop the building and an environment to put it in. I obviously am not an artist but I would like to take your approach and learn how you draw/sketch and then convert the sketches to 3D models.Majid, your work is inspiring. @ Fletch,
It is rather an old book, but rarely did I find such an inspiring and influential book. I hope you find it inspiring too. The writer, Bruno Munari has been a great designer..
@ ntxdave; I copy, I vividly remember when I started learning digital painting using Krita by a mouse, I got depressed for two weeks, then slowly start to progress. Soon I bought a cheap pen and tablet, and the situation was similar again. Then I slowly learned how to work with the digital pen!
I have a trick! : I start teaching what I am learning!... Believe me this way not only I force myself to progress but also I learn deeper and faster!

OK - I hope this is headed in the right direction.
Yes, this is just a start……….learning to use the Sketchbook application and use your inspiration.
