@Dave, I'll take a look at the Projection vs Perspective view. That may be a previously unknown issue; I personally never use the orthographic projection...

@humanunhuman, if enabling a tag causes the render to change, 99% of the time this means you have geometry in the scene causing problems. Without seeing the scene it's impossible for us to know, but that's probably what's going on. Often the easiest way to fix issues like that is to copy and paste your model into a new SketchUp scene.

Thanks Chris. By orthographic do you mean Parallel?

BTW: I have not seen this problem in the past.

@humanunhuman Seems a simple idea, but have you tried completely restarting your machine?

@Dave This is what I would expect, I have made renderings in parallel projection mode where the sky only shows up as a dot, and appears black.

Thanks Fletch. I thought I had used it in the past but all of the images I found with Parallel did not have an HDR background. So, I will just make sure I do not use that for renders with an HDR background. :^:
