Re: Courts Entry Porch
much improved!
brick material still seems weak... which template are you using for it? do you have a special bump map applied or just linked to the SU texture? (needs something special made I think)
the ground material is tiling... could post-pro that out easily I think if you don't want to fix the texture.
anyway - this is one to be proud of... people are always tough to make convincing... unless client specifically requests them, best to leave 'em out.
skyline missing a treeline... could add in post-pro, use spherical with treeline in it, or strategically place billboard trees to look good in reflections and direct distance... an image to reflect that is of a parking lot could look good

Re: Courts Entry Porch
The brick material is a custom map...has an accompanying bump map and I bumped it to 5.
Added sperical sky with trees. Here is what it ends up looking like with slight level tweak in PS. Oh - and I pulled it to a 70mm FOV.

Re: Courts Entry Porch
Oh - and Fletch - thanks for all the tips!
Re: Courts Entry Porch
One thing i find odd a bit that you have long and soft shadows like you would get in the morning/evening but the background is bright daylight lit.
Did you model the curtain wall? It's nicely detailed!

Busted! It is morning lighting, east facade. I used a spherical sky...which is bright. You have a very good eye!
Yes, I built the curtain wall. Part of the design of techy look for the glass and details while the rest of the building is more traditional looking in massing.
