Use sky to light scene but ignore ceiling

Hi Been looking online but cant find question to this. I have sketchup model of a room that has a cream ceiling, I can use sky set to colour white and no sun and get a good simple render but have to set ceiling to glass to let the light in so scene lights without ceiling. Is there any way to get Twilight to ignore the ceiling and pass the daylight through but show the cream ceiling?

Answering my own question here.... am I guessing I just have to add a ceiling hidden emitter and wait the extra render time?

Twilight Render is no longer in business, so I'm not sure why a hobby user is here asking questions. We are only here to make sure that we support our pro users.

In order to not appear rude:
If I understand what you want correctly, that's what I would do.

yes render times will increase with emitters. You can use a grid of invisible spot lights, or other creative lighting.
or you can apply a material to the ceiling and set the ceiling material to not cast shadow.

You claim there's no answer to your question in our tutorials.
But to light interiors, you can easily follow our interior lighting videos. There are several. Did you completely watch all of our interior lighting videos? Did you completely watch all 6 Essentials videos I linked in my signature?
