Strange color

Post by bb60 » Wed Oct 07, 2009 9:24 pm

This is what happened on the first floor windows of a house I rendered. Preset 8, architectural glass common template, resolution around 3000x1500, CD Skies 002 from KT, 2D trees in the background for reflections. Any ideas what happened?

What exactly is it that you're looking for...?? :?

I'd love to help you here, but with the limited information you've provided, it's extremely difficult... :|

I'm guessing there are planes in your window that are painted with another material other than the glass?
could be you've painted the back faces with the glass, but painted the entire group or components with a different material, so you will need to remove the 'bad guy'. Quickest way is to paint front and back of all glass in that problem group/component with your glass.

...and maybe "repaint" the whole group with the default material of SU? (I once had my window frames rendered with glass material  Looked weird indeed)

I will check, but as far as I know, I painted all the windows with the same SU glass texture. None of the upper windows were affected, but all the lower ones came out like this.
