twilight layers vs sketchup scene

I must say I dont really understand the logic of twilight layers..? why is it not accorded exactly with sketchup scenes? (i mean the layers that are visible or not and object hidden or not). I think it would be easier to understand and to manage cause for the moment if I get a very special scene with complex hidden layer scheme , I get to reproduce it in twilight to render...

Don't touch the layer settings in Twilight and you'll get exactly what you see in the SketchUp window.

right-click any component in the scene, and choose Twilight>Force Layer Visibility In All Components.
now it will/should work just as you see in SketchUp.

we had problems with people having troubles, so we made it work the other way... perhaps this topic should be revisited...
