Say I have a forest
I zoom only one tree on the screen
Does Twilight make a sort of "clipping" or all the forest is calculated for the rendering?
Trivial technical question
Re: Trivial technical question
Good question. No, Twilight doesn't do any sort of clipping. Under 'most' circumstances, you probably wouldn't want it to because lighting, shadow and reflection often come from things "off screen".
Re: Trivial technical question
So does the render "Selection" for one tree selected is a good solution for a speedy render?
Or I must "hide" rest of the nature?
Or kill the forest except one? (not ecologic

Re: Trivial technical question
"Render selection" will only render the selected geometry and will provide a faster render, definitely. However, the amount of time it takes to process your geometry may or may not significantly improve depending on how many unique components you are using.
