G'day folks,
I need to get a new PC, this one developed a need for a new CMOS battery, changed the battery but the mountin on the board broke.
Seeing as my 2009 PC is so old, I have let my knowledge of what is current crash so I would really appreciate some advice on current standards and spec. Anyone got any pointers please?

Budget?
Look through some of the very latest posts in the "How Fast Are You" thread linked below.
This looks like a very quick little laptop. But the screen seems small. If you have a good external screen, seems like a great buy (assuming European buyer)

Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14ARE05 14"
AMD Ryzen 7 4800U (8 cores 16 threads)
16GB RAM
Results are quite good for a 590 EUR compact 14" laptop

She says 590 EUR, but I couldn't find it anywhere for less than 690. Also She claims 16GB RAM, but I only saw 8Gb. If you can get 16, get 16. Video card I'd recommend min. 2Gb VRAM, but better is 4Gb or more.

G'day mate,
Looking for a tower pc rather than a loptap. Much more adaptable.
Looking at Chillblast or Overclockers at the mo.

A bit late answer but still
Now this laptop is available for 2999 pln which is roughly 660 eur. When I bought it there was a promo for a new product and the price was (you can see it in customer rewiew down at the page) 2799 pln which is now 620 eur, but exchange rate is not super stable
