I am crossing my fingers that this is a better match.

oh hey that's looking good :!: :hat:

maybe could be interesting to add some additional highlight lighting in these areas? But maybe that's against the design of the feature. Just ignore me.

Cheers mate, yes that is the plan. I shall see how the current setup comes out. I added the 'bits' but thought 2AM was a bit late to start rendering.

Apparently sleep is very a handy thing to do now and again.........

Links below to some interesting videos about "cinematic lighting", although they are done in a different program, the lighting principals are interesting to learn and easily applied to any render engine, or even your normal photography.

Thank you, appreciated. Is there a practical limit to the number of lights in a Twil ight scene? I seem to have quite a lot MIA.

Partial success. Not all lights are present emission wise. :wall:

You can render thousands of lights in Twilight using Easy 09 or Easy 10. With Easy 1-7 you may want to stick to Easy 03 if you have more than 20 lights. Or use the special settings for hundreds of lights.

Be sure that any lights you are missing are not sharing 3D space with adjacent surfaces. Be sure if they are painted on surfaces, then they are on the front and not on the back face.

Thank you. Not that many lights in the place. The pendant lights in the kitchen, dining and reading area upstairs do not illuminate, the light in the fountain either but if proximity to geometry is an issue, that's it.

set radius of light to be very small - .1cm
keep light more than 1cm from adjacent geometry
be careful if it is inside of a glass bulb, be sure to use clear glass: architectural: common

I am happy to diagnose the scene if you share link via file sharing service to me via PM

Thanks mate, I'll get it uploaded and send a link.
