AIA Gold Medal winner in 1990, Thorncrown Chapel by E. Fay Jones remains one of my all time favorite buildings, perhaps even my #1 favorite.

Jones described Thorncrown Chapel as “a place to think your best thoughts.”

Found this model on 3D warehouse, and made a few model modifications, + changed the terrain and trees, etc.

Clearly a lot more to do if I were to make it "photorealistic" but this, as a short exercise, is quite nice.

Very well done Fltech. Pretty darn close to photorealistic IMO. I like the terrain, trees and grass. I also like the lighting.

A little dark for me on my iPad. Would like to see it a little lighter so I could see the inside details a little better. From what I could see, it looks like a very interesting building and some great details in modeling.
