Arches, arches, .. and yet arches.

Arches have been part of our construction history for centuries. Their structural and architectural beauty mesmerizes us even nowadays and maybe in the future.
It has been a while since I have been busy developing my book. It is dedicated to novel forms that may arch roofs provide. It is called Skybound Arches and is in review to be printed soon, hopefully!
The process is simply crafting a new alphabetical system out of arches. Then combining those alphabet letters to generate new forms. Each member of the system is delegated an arched roof. So when you are filling a simple pattern|plan with those symbols, are generating a new combination of forms. As arches are self-supporting, these forms could find their way into many realms. from villages to contemporary architecture to constructions that may built using 3D printing systems on Mars.
Models are done in Sketchup, rendered using Twilight, and post-pro in Krita. One of the models also was 3D printed.
I thought it worth it to spread the idea.
