This is really sad news. I have enjoyed Twilight Render and thought there was a new version on the horizon. :( I will continue to use it as long as possible though.

IMO, it is/has been a great product and one of the best support staffs and support forum. I do wish the Twilight Render team much success in what ever they do in the future. :^: :^: :^: :whoot: :whoot: :hat: :hat:

I am sorry there was no option for responding to Chris’s post on this topic so I had to start this thread. :(

Sorry, I had not seen the PM. I just replied to you. I also posted a link to Chris’s post/thread on the SketchUcation forum.

It is extremely sad that this has happened /: . I grew up with it. I still use it sometimes. I hope that I will have access in case of need, after the computer has been replaced or by another forsmajor :totgm:

Twilight Render will be available for the entirety of 2024, including any re-licensing (if you move to a new computer or what-not).

I logged on yesterday with the intent of gifting myself Fast Forward Denoise and was very sad to see this news. I imagine it was a difficult decision for all concerned.

I have been using Twilight Render for a couple of years now and would like you all to know how much I've appreciated all the work you've put into a really solid program. I only use Sketchup and renderings for personal projects but I've really enjoyed the process of learning and getting inspiration from these forums. Although I doubt I'll ever completely understand the difference between biased and unbiased renders ;) (no matter how many times I read Fletch's explanations (which are great btw, it's just me)), I've never run into an issue that I couldn't find a solution to in these forums.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that all of your excellent work on this program has been appreciated by me. I will continue to use it until it no longer works and I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Very sad to hear... But since there was no more news on a new release for Apple Silicon, I was suspecting/fearing this...

I have used Kerkythea in 2008, and moved to Twilight a little over 10 years ago.
I have visualised hundreds of projects for clients, from architects, project developers, ... From large banking buildings of 12.000sqm to small boutique bathrooms, large holiday resorts, ...

A small selection on my website: www.phos.be

So thank you again to the whole team of Twilight render, you have been the essential tool in my business! :rspkt:

And now it's time to research some new render plugins for SketchUp on Apple Silicon.
@Admins: is it OK if I open a topic on the forum to discuss alternative render plugins for SketchUp, with native support for Apple Silicon?

Yes, I think that would be appropriate. Please do so in the "Pull up a chair" forum which is intended for "off-topic" conversations.
