Bring on the Mac version, I cant wait!
Im working ok on my MAc via vmware, but it renders far slower than Windows. I get by ok, but look forward to the dedicated Mac version.

Re: Mac licenses
I'm using vmware fusion too, I've only let it use one of my two cores so rendering is sloooooooooooow!! what happens if i let it use both cores? meltdown?

Sorry, guys, we will get a mac version as soon as humanly possible. Please be patient, as we want a mac version as much as you do.

Most UN-likely...olishea wrote:what happens if i let it use both cores? meltdown?
I've never heard that happen to anyone, unless their cooling system was malfunctioning...

Re: Mac licenses
I don't think you will get full power even on 2 cores because of how vmware works.
If you run through Bootcamp though it should run exactly as on a PC.

Re: Mac licenses
I use Wine in Ubuntu to run a couple of Win programs (Not SketchUp). I understand there's Wine for Mac OS, too.
Re: Mac licenses
I used both cores and it renders a lot quicker (it says 2 threads)....but it makes my computer a bit slow whilst rendering thats all, no crashing or anything.
