Is there a materials database with free Twilight compatible materials?
I am currently comparing Twilight with Maxwell for Sketchup. For most things I like Twilight more, but Maxwell seems to have a really nice and really big database of freely available materials ( http://resources.maxwellrender.com/ ) is there anything comparable for Twilight materials?
Materials Database?
Re: Materials Database?
Yes, there are many many materials available for Twilight to licensed users in the Red Carpet Resources section of the forum. Access is granted with your license.
Also, all the many great free material libraries that are available for Kerkythea work with Twilight.
Look at the resolution of renderings you have available to you before buying an integrated render engine. (fully licensed Twilight is not limited)

Re: Materials Database?
Thanks Fletch.
Are those materials in some sort of database that I can easily search? Say for example I want a material for a stone wall, can I search "stone wall" and get say 40 different stone wall materials right away?

Re: Materials Database?
You can search the Kerkythea materials, it's not the same kind of database as Maxwell's. You can also use any of Maxwell's texture maps and create any material in SketchUp and Twilight.
