Is that a working windmill?

Reminds me of the Enchanted Highway sculptures in North Dakota (northern USA).

i am thinking it is no longer a working windmill....somehow, those blades just don't seem right...!!

....love those fish in Dakota...!!

here is another photo from the same region as the windmill....it's called the 'Dog Tank'.....i have been told this actually does store water...although i reckon that is unlikely unless what little desert rain accidentally falls into it...!!

There are 7 giant scrap metal sculptures strung along that god-forsaken highway in ND. But they are proof that "if you build it they will come". Check the site link above to see them all.

I'm sure a well pumps the water into it, and it provides water pressure. Why not? but a car as a dog face? Now THAT'S thinking out of the box.

it seems the Aussie way is to leave them raw and rusty...we are pretty basic down here..!!

i should have mentioned these are somewhere between our famous opal mining town of Coober Pedy and the even more remote desert town of Oodnadatta

Looks simply amazing...i also have one this type of photo in my PC.I sure will must be next time share here...You really inspired me with that.
