Hey everyone

Here is a render for the proposal of our new showroom.

I think it's definitely warmer than before.
Perhaps the most difficult part is to try to balance exposure of image, intensity of sunlight, power of light emitter surfaces, spots and points.
The lights look blown out in this version. But the general illumination/exposure of the space seems good. So perhaps you can back off the power of the spots/points/emitters, but maybe only slightly back off on the sun power.

Thanks Fletch.

It's not a million miles away from the image you've set over mine. Yes the lights are blown. I must get in the habit of doing a test in Prelim. I tend to run for 15-20 mins in Easy 9 to gauge things but it always brightens up quite considerably after 100 passes.

It's funny... I've designed the island in the showroom to be a mini version of the photo you've set over the top.

Here is another view. I've reduced the light intensity :) Bit of PP to pop the image and added line overlay and SupaNovas

It's very difficult to get it 100% right. I use 3 screens and this image looks totally different on each screen due to the colour config! /:

Hi Dan,

Its a nice job, however, the down lights on the top of the Island should not reflect any light on the cieling (looks fake)

Thanks George.

The lights over the island are open topped lamp shades so they would actually beam light up and down. ;)

:gj:
not liking the clock... or the white grout lines... none of which have to do with the space or the rendering.

Somehow I missed the last render, this is gorgeous! I remember your first renderings, you became a master. I believe you have some problem with the UV mapping of the Eames chair back.

I just could not help to pop it up a little in PP :)
