SketchUp has a new icon?!

A very reasonable explanation, but I still don't like it. I like the old one better.

Although I am used to the old icon, the new one is a much better logo and I like it, I believe it is a good graphic and good branding example.

When I first saw the SketchUp logo it appeared quite weak to me. After all this time I like it, and it's what I expect.
We'll see how the next logo holds up now.
