Twilight Render User Forum

So I've read this http://twilightrender.com/public_data/M ... _Part5.pdf, but am still not entirely clear on how to get started with applying my materials. For a start I don't understand the first statement "The key with many Templates is to use the SketchUp texture only in the bump channel." This level of information is already over my head, so if theres an even more basic beginners tutorial I would much appreciate it. Hope someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks, L
