There's nothing in the window because you don't have a material selected. Click the eyedropper button, then click on the material you want to edit.

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean. When you click on the Twilight Material eyedropper, then you click on the material in your SketchUp scene, you should see that material show up in the edit window.

If you change the material in the Twilight Material Editor it will change it in SU. If you had a texture, and you set it to "color", it will convert the SketchUp model to use just color. If you don't want to change the SU material, you need to click the 'chain' button next to the Color channel to disconnect it from the SU material. I suggest you read the material section of the Users Guide.

Noooo! When I click on the material it turns in to color(see above)!!!! and texture disappear!!! all textures turn into black color in final render!!! I know how to use interface - I am not so stupid :) I am asking why it doesn't work properly...what is the reason?

Noro,
Are you using custom textures? If so, please list EXACTLY the location of this texture including file name... the complete path. Thanks.

Fletch has a good point about filepaths. The SDK doesn't handle unicode characters. Twilight 'filters' all the filenames so that they only use ascii characters, but if the file path includes unicode characters, that may be a problem.

Noro, can you do a search for "layouts.dat" and tell me the full path where it's found? If there is a path problem, I'll work on a special fix for you. Sorry I didn't understand the problem earlier.

I just ran some tests and I'm pretty certain the problem is from unicode characters in the path, specifically the path to the application data (ie C:/Documents and Settings/your user name/Application Data/Twilight)

This will be fixed in the next release.
