Hi.
It looks almost real, but the leather texture scale must be a little bigger. Nice wood texture and embedded ceiling leds

Re: Theater Room
Can you do a google image search for "dark brown leather chair" and post some images of the leather look you are going for.

Here is the current rendering that i have still rendering at the moment. This is about 4 hours in at easy10+. I am probably going to let it cook over night.

Re: Theater Room
This is looking good! I am not an expert with leather. But I would play with the Plastic>Shiny template and change shininess from 1000, to 600, to 400, to 200, to 50 on a small test scene and try to find a shininess that I like. Change the reflection color to be a bit warmer, perhaps.

Re: Theater Room
Hey Fletch i have a question for you. I'm having something weird happen with my sconces. Part of the metal base is rendering as a glass lamp shade when it should render as brushed metal. Just wonder what might be causing that. I have attached a picture of the rendering ( still in progress) and a picture of the sketch-up model. I also included a finished version of the rendering above ( Atleast the best i can do now considering my skill level )

Re: Theater Room
Leather looks really nice now! Is this a real project or a concept of yours?
Re: Theater Room
my guess with the sconce is that part of the model has reversed faces. The part with reversed faces is painted with metal on the back face, but with the lamp color on the front face. So, the result is that it appears in SU to be metal, but Twilight sees only the front face material as first priority and renders it this way.
Switch to monochrome view, and reverse all back faces.
