Great! Finally Version2 is released...All success!
Now, I would really like to 'see' it in action, but have yet to get it to install properly.
The Details: Windows Vista, SketchUp 7Pro, attempting to install 'Hobby' release.
The Issue: Installation fails to recognize SketchUp 7Pro...thus the install is unsuccessful.
I've even tried the install using admin rights and also tried to 'manually' place the TR files in SketchUp directory...no success.
Does TR 1.5 need to be un-installed first? If so, please let me know. Otherwise please indicate where to 'manually' place the files correctly.
Version2-install issue...
Re: Version2-install issue...
The Windows installer does not automatically detect SketchUp 7. We will probably add that in our maintenance release.
In the meantime, install Twilight Render V2 as normal. Assuming you installed it to the default location, save the text file at the end of this post into your SketchUp 7 plugins folder. If you installed V2 somewhere else, you will have to open the file and edit the install location.
Please be aware, Twilight Render V2 should work just fine with SketchUp 7 (everything from SketchUp 6 to SketchUp 2013 is basically the same; only 2014 is different), however, we don't actively test Twilight Render V2 against SketchUp 7.

Re: Version2-install issue...
Thanks Chris!
That did the 'trick'...and hopefully, it will help anyone else who runs into this type of install issue. Only needed to make a minor adjustment [text editor] to set the correct path.
...and so far, SketchUp 7Pro is playing nicely with TRv2.

Re: Version2-install issue...
I am running Sketchup 7.
I am experiencing the same problem but those steps didn't work for me.
I wasn't able to save it directly into the Plugins folder so I copied and pasted the file you provided "twilight2.rb" into the Plugins folder and it didn't work.
What is your advice?
Thank you!

When you downloaded and installed Twilight Render V2, where did you install it to? Can you post a screen shot where it's installed?
Can you post a screen shot of your SketchUp 7 plugins folder?
