Disable: Do you want to render the current selection only?
Hi,
First time poster, short time user, super stoked customer.
I have a simple but annoying issue. I updated to version 2.0 and I can't disable the " Do you want to render the current selection only? " dialogue box. The "don't show this..." box is grey and can not be checked to disable this message that appears when an object is selected in the model.
Cheers,

Try going to Plugins pulldown menu>Twilght 2>Options>Options and find where it says to reset all dialog answers.
If that doesn't work, you may need to uninstall, reinstall.
To uninstall, find the uninstall000.exe file in the TwilightRenderV2 folder in your Programs folder, make sure SU is closed! Uninstall with that tool, and it will ask if you want to erase all data files, choose yes.
Then reinstall, and hopefully it will fix the issue.

Resetting didn't help, but I also noticed in one of the new official youtube tutorials, it looked the same way, the option to not show the message is grayed out.
Re: Disable: Do you want to render the current selection onl
It may not be possible, in that particular dialog, to turn it off permanently as rendering selection only is a feature, not really a nuisance.
I personally never would check this box, but rather most the time I'm in the habit of hitting my "deselect all" shortcut on my keyboard before hitting render.
I can see how it would be annoying, we'll see about giving the option back.

In my case, I never use the feature. I would simply argue that having the option, depending on your workflow, it would be great to have that, just like in previous versions of Twilight. After all, one can always reset the dialogue answers as suggested previously.
Either way, thanks for the feedback.

That's good feedback, Beatsnatcher. Some of the dialogs do not have that option available intentionally because we want the user to know, for sure, that something happened. In this case, however, it is probably just an oversight. We will get that updated in our first maintenance release.

Very kind of you, thanks!
While on the subject, if I may, I would suggest, if possible, to move the "please wait, processing model" box so it doesn't cover the dialogue box that ends up underneath when the render window is in full screen. It overlaps often even if it's not full screen. Again, not a biggy, just a workflow vs design thing.

Agreed. On different platforms it shows up in different places. I don't think I ever have it show up right there for me on Windows 7 but we will try to take care that that doesn't happen.

I can confirm that it works for me on windows 7 the same way as beatsnatcher has shown, always behind another dialogue box.
Re: Disable: Do you want to render the current selection only?
Hey guys !
I have the opposite problem. I disabled the dialogue boxes in the Render window and now can't get them to reappear.
I have tried to reset them in the Edit Options Window, but the reset doesn't occur.
I have also tried uninstalling/reinstalling Twilight.
Any other ideas? Or is this a bug in the new version?
Thanks in advance !
I'm using
Win 10
SU 2016
Twilght V2.72. Professional
