This might be a dumb question, but I was wondering how I should go about installing V2.
I haven't downloaded V2 yet, neither the hobby or pro version, but I'm planning on buying the pro version.
I bought the V1 pro about half a year ago. Is it required or recommended to "uninstall" or remove V1 before installing V2?
Feel free to delete the thread once it's answered or something.
Thanks.
Is there a need to uninstall V1 before switching to V2?

Re: Is there a need to uninstall V1 before switching to V2?
It's a good question.
Normally, there is no problem having V1 and V2 together. Some users may experience problems and we recommend trying to remove V1 in that case. But this is not typical.
If, however, you have RAM (memory) limitation, you may want to uninstall or at least just disable V1. This will free up some memory for SketchUp to use for other things.

When we say uninstalling, it's probably just removing the folder from the Plugins directory from SketchUp, right?
I hadn't thought about disabling yet haha, so that probably does the trick too.
Thanks for the fast reply!

V1 user manual has a section on properly uninstalling Twilight V1. But it should not be necessary.

For V1, yes. Though on Windows there is also an actual uninstaller you can find through the Control Panel.pondfilter wrote:When we say uninstalling, it's probably just removing the folder from the Plugins directory from SketchUp, right?
