Hi all,
I want to do the update from my brand new version V2.0.0 up to V2 M1.
It is recommended to uninstall the existing V2-version before installing the version V2 M1.
Do I have to delete the existing file "twilight2.rb" within the SketchUp plugins directory as well,
before I install the new Twilight version?
Regard, Tegi

If you are on Windows, use the uninstaller.
If you are on OSX, delete twilight2.rb and the Twilight2 folder.
If you are on OSX, delete twilight2.rb and the Twilight2 folder.

Thanks for your answer
But what about the current "twilight2.rb" inside the SketchUp-Plugins?
Do I have to delete this file as well bevore installing the new Twilight?

If you are one Windows and you use the uninstaller it will automatically delete it (you have to choose to remove data files when it asks).

Thank you Chris - the update worked simpel and easy - as you described
Sorry, I still have to ask an other (stupid) question about the updating process.
After the update is done now, do I have to run a new entire activation process again?
If so, do I get completely new activation codes or do I have to use the existing ones?
Sure there is an update manual somewhere which I have not found yet - Thanks again
Regards

If you are using Pro and you have activated your license, you should only need to re-activate if you have made changes to your operating system, such as reloading, reinstalling, or upgrading. Just installing a new version of SketchUp will not require reactivation.
