Re: small render - twiligapple
yes Michalis is very talented isn't he?
first image looking great but DOF is not right, would be better if target object was the foreground apple IMO. Zoom in a bit more like a macro lens.
sorry I had to make a suggestion

Re: small render - twiligapple
Thanks for revealing that, I was having a headache trying to figure out what the target point was...
Re: small render - twiligapple
its annoying how you have to make the camera target and then set up your scene. should be able to set camera target then update scene, no?

Re: small render - twiligapple
I have the same problem 2.
And I thought the wood mat looks much nicer than the apple and the blue shadows much like caustics.

I think if you have "SceneA" then choose a target in your SU view, and Rt-click>Twilight>Set Camera Target
THEN if you Rt-click the "SceneA" Tab and choose "update" it should 'reset' the target for that view to be correct...
This is how it's supposed to work. Have you tried it, Oli, and it does not?
The only slightly 'picky' part of this is that the target you choose must be as close as possible to the exact center of your view "SceneA" before you choose the target... but when you get used to doing it, it takes max. 3 mins to do this... to pick your target.
There may be, in the future, a tool that can do this more 'gracefully'.
Re: small render - twiligapple
how was this mapped? was it mapped in SU or another prog?
