Church

Post by Edmund » Thu Dec 17, 2009 8:05 pm

He's a Catholic Church our firm has been working on.

Edited by Frederik: In order to avoid possible loss of images hosted at 3rd party, I've attached the image direct to the TWR Forum.

I know that the tone in each image seems to be different. It seems that every monitor or printer in our office seems to print or display the images differently, so I've been adjusting the images to how they appear on our projector. Also the images needed to be rather large 1920x1000+, had to blow them up and print out large hard copies for a presentation board.

The model is just over 90mb. I struggled a lot in each scene to remove enough of the model to get it to render in WindowsXP Pro. I then upgraded to Windows7 Ultimate 64bit and it really did help alot, even though it really shouldn't have. Also had to exagerate the glow on the Vigil Lamp quite a bit. Not my call. :) Each image minus the Plan view had some small amount of PP.

Rendered using preset 9
Windows 7 Ultimate 64
intel 920 i7
Amount of passes varied between each image.

I've improved quite a bit from those initial renders, but just wanted to share one of my first projects that I worked on until completion.
