The standard SketchUp Plugins root directories are:
Windows SU8: C:\Program Files\Google\Google SketchUp 8\Plugins
Windows SU13: C:\Program Files\SketchUp\SketchUp 2013\Plugins
Windows SU14: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp 2014\SketchUp\Plugins
Windows SU15: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp 2015\SketchUp\Plugins
Windows SU216: There are 2: C:\ProgramData\SketchUp\SketchUp 2016\SketchUp\Plugins
~and~
C:\Users\your user name\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp 2016\SketchUp\Plugins **
Windows SU2017: There are 2: C:\ProgramData\SketchUp\SketchUp 2017\SketchUp\Plugins
~and~
C:\Users\your user name\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp 2017\SketchUp\Plugins **
Windows SU2018, 2019, 2020, 2021: There are 2 possible places:
C:\ProgramData\SketchUp\SketchUp 20XX\SketchUp\Plugins
~and~
C:\Users\your user name\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp 20XX\SketchUp\Plugins **
(**Twilight Render uses the first one which installs for everyone who uses the computer. The second installs only for the current user.)
Location of personal presets .xml file (you can read it with Notepad)
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\TwilightV2
Location of custom edited Rendering Presets:
C:\ProgramData\TwilightV2\RenderSettings
Mac SU8: Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 8/SketchUp/Plugins
Mac SUXX: ~/Library/Application Support/SketchUp XXXX/SketchUp/Plugins
Where '~/Library/..." is the same as "/Users/<your_mac_user_name>/Library/..."
Also, OSX has a habit of hiding the ~/Library folder (to protect mac users from themselves, apparently). So here is how to find your library folder if it is missing.
To Uninstall Twilight Render
If you are on Windows, run the uninstaller. You can find it usually in your Start menu, in the Programs folder, or in the Control panel. After running the uninstaller, Twilight Render will be removed from SketchUp.
If you need to completely remove all settings related to Twilight Render V2 (they stick around so installing new versions doesn't erase your settings), go to C:\Users\your user name\AppData\Roaming, find and delete the TwilightV2 folder.
On OSX/macOS you will need to go to the Plugins folder for whatever version of SketchUp you are using and delete the Twilight Render related files and folder (usually named some variation of 'twilightv2'). The Plugins folder is usually here: Library > Application Support > SketchUp # > SketchUp > Plugins
